We all know that I’m a high heel hog, LOL and I’m not at all ashamed to admit it. However, I’ve often told my fans that coming down a little closer to earth is a good idea. Gives the tootsies a little rest. I’m not going to bore you with all the health aspects of taking care of your feet. Instead, I’m going to share with you a cute podiatrist, tons of hot shoes and if you can hear him over the sound of that call in your ears to go shopping. ;-) Then perhaps you will take away something valuable. Enjoy the view!
I am excited about the seasons changing, it means cooler weather for us Floridians. I love the Fall because as the seasons change, so do the styles which means…..EVERYTHING GOES ON SALE!!! Yay, that makes me really happy! The colors this season make me happy too because they are the colors that I get the most compliments wearing and they are great staples that can carry your wardrobe well beyond this season. Next fall, many of the items you purchase will still be wonderful additions.
Camel- There is no way you are going to tell me that whatever you add to your wardrobe in this color is not going to make you look great. This is such the perfect “neutral” that it is going to look fabulous for years to come.
Christopher Kon #444 Shoulder Bag
Fossil Sutter Large Top Zip Bag Camel
Olives – I personally love the olive hues, they are so versatile and can be worn with a multitude of colors that make the look just pop.
Rebecca Minkoff Main Squeeze Fold-Over Cross-Body

Nine West Sappheir, Ships 10/11 ankle bootie
L.A.M.B. – Campbell Brody

Powder Blue – I must admit, I’m really happy to see this color back in trend. I own a pair of really cute pale blue shoes that I will get to wear again. Woohoo! This color can be worn to add some flair to the neutral tones mentioned above.

Hyde – Blue Satin

Promiscuous – Trixie (Blue Metallic) – Footwear
Mookie Clothing – Get your fitness fashion fix here. This company is owned by Sarah Reeves Connelly, she & I once upon a time did fitness competitions together. She has taken her passion for fitness to a new level by offering some cool fashions to get your body in shape.
Mosh Posh – This cute consignment shop has it all. It’s owned by Lauren Basil and I met her because I’m nosey LOL, seriously, she had some cute shoes in her window & is located in the same plaza as another friend that I’ll get to later. Anyway, she offers a large selection of True Religion jeans as well as a host of other highly recognizable high end fashions. They are all authentic and all on consignment.
Busy BEA Shoes – Ok, I don’t actually know her personally but she falls into the 6 degrees of separation rule. This company is owned by Britt Erekson & let me tell you this lady has some moxie! I like it! She posted something to my facebook fan page & I removed it and let me tell you that she called me on it. :-) I took a look at her shoes & they are feminine and affordable! You gotta love that mix.
Pieces With Purpose – I can honestly say that the women that own this company are compassionate, caring & dedicated. This company is owned by Amy Lerom (who is called Mama Lerom by my son) and Lauren Goodhart Murray (another Mama to my son). These are Plant High Football moms & there is a special place in our hearts for Plant. Their company offers shirts with bling! They wholesale these lovely shirts leaving something on the table for fundraisers to use for their causes. They create all kinds of cuteness! See my profile pic in the Gators dress? They did that. :-)
Fetch.Fur.Love. – Yes, I know it’s not your traditional fashion but the pet lovers out there will appreciate it. Owned by Rickena Perry, this little joint is always jumping….with furry friends. She even has a Yappy Hour! That cracks me up! Rickenas shop is next door to Mosh Posh. I met Rickena because….well, I’m nosey. LOL, I was looking at the spot that now houses Mosh Posh and walked into her doggie boutique a little more than a year ago & she was so helpful that we became instant friends.
I hope that you all will visit these fan pages and know that wherever you are, these fashionistas have something to offer. Afterall, we’re all just one UPS shipment away right?
Happy Shopping!
I love shoes, I love getting them for a steal and 50% off is really a nice discount. I REALLY like getting them at a steal if it’s going to help someone but it’s the absolute best if I can save money & help save a life. You just can’t beat that. I’ve written posts before that have mentioned helping others when you shop. There are so many different ways to do this but coming in October, Fergie, QVC & The Fashion Footwear Association of New York (FFANY) along with many other shoe designers will offer their shoes half off to benefit Breast Cancer research.
Designers like Anne Klein, Nine West, Carlos Santana & many more will have shoes available to help save lives. Be sure to tune in to help save a life and find the perfect pair of shoe….or shoes.
There’s nothing better than a sale in my book. You get to find some great items to add to your wardrobe and you get to save money too, oh yeah, I love that for sure! We all see the commercials, get the flyers in the mail advertising those back to school sales right? Well, those sales are not just for kids. I not only get my kids some great items when these sales come along but I also bolster my own wardrobe.
Like many of the retailers that you visit in the malls, online retailers also offer some stellar savings. There are two advantages to buying at this time of year. One, almost everyone has a sale of some sort and so you can get some great deals on items being offered moving into a new season and because it’s the end of the summer season, you can find even greater savings on summer items that are going out of season. Don’t discount the thought of buying summer goodies that are going out of season. Out of season does not mean out of style.
My recent find on summer shoes that are on sale:
At the beginning of the summer, these were $139.99, they are now on sale for $29.99

This one was $99.95 and it’s now $33.99
This pair was 129.99 at the start of the summer, they are now on sale for $29.99
I don’t know about you, but I’m going back to school shopping for me AND the kids!
Happy Shopping!
I am the first one to seek out a designer sale but lets face it, even some of the sales offered by the designers can still be quite pricey. I know I don’t write very much about purses but clearly, I carry them. Where would I keep my lipstick if I didn’t
. I change purses pretty much every other day. I once lost my drivers license for 2 weeks and then I switched back to a purse that I thought I’d searched in the first place, ironically on the day I was finally prepared to order a new one. This was not a deterrent for my chronic purse changing habits. Stalking purse sales is fun but let’s face it, even a designer purse on sale is more than a lot of the shoes that are on sale. Recently in one of my many online adventures into shopping, I stumbled onto a cool little purse site called Handbag Heaven. They have some really cute bags AND they are priced to where I can not only feed my shoe addiction but I can now feed my need for new purses to lose my things in. It’s so funny because I have certain items in each purse so that when I change, I always have a brush, a lip liner, a lip gloss and a chap stick for those days I just want to be plain jane. If you like having a variety of purses, I say check them out. They have some pretty interesting styles and dare I say it, they have some looks that I know are designer inspired but they don’t say that, they never mention anything of the sort. Since most really great looking designer styles end up being trickled down for the mainstream I say add these great looks to your closet.

There are days when to be perfectly honest with you, I just don’t feel like writing. Today is one of those days. So, they say a picture is worth a thousand words. Here are the pictures:

The first day of summer is vastly approaching, living here in Florida, summer has not officially arrived but the weather apparently has not been issued the memo. It’s been quite toasty to say the least and as the temperature increases, the shoulders, midriff and the toes come out to be seen. I love it when we get to show off our summer bodies by wearing some of the hottest summer looks. Here are a few items that would look good and keep you cool during those summer nights & days.
DKNY Pull on dress
Parker Double Flared sleeve dress
Nine West Ideal
Report Signature Pamona Sandal
Hollywould Nicola Heel
South Tampa Designer Consignment
I love a bargain, my site is dedicated to finding great designer deals and letting you know where to get them. I found a great place right in my own little neighborhood! It’s called Mosh Posh and it’s located at 500 S Howard Avenue here in Tampa.
While I offer my own little consignment service, she has something that I don’t. She has a cute shop that you can go and peruse through, tons of jeans, great prices on shoes (which you KNOW I love) and she has a great staff to help you find what you need. If you are in town, make sure to stop by and see Lauren, she is a really nice lady and she has a great selection of designer goods. Check out what she has to say and some of the designer steals I found while on my trip there.

I’m sure you’ve heard people say “if it’s free, it’s for me!” I know so many, especially in this economy that have made that their mantra. I do my best to get as much on sale as I possibly can. Shoes, clothes, food, whatever! If you can find it on sale & you were going to spend money on it anyway, then why pay full retail?
I always mention when I write a post like this, that if you’ve read any of my other posts, you KNOW that I LOVE SHOES! They have taken over my home, I have shoes stored in a ton of various places & I wear them all. I just know that before it is all said and done, I am going to need a professional organizer to help me find new & innovative storage solutions, but I digress.
I own shoes from what should be all price points but I must admit, that the designer shoes I own, I have bought at a deep discount. Not all of my shoes are designer shoes either. I will buy shoes from anywhere, if they fit, they’re good looking & will work within my budget, then it’s the shoe for me!
My most recent acquisitions are a pair of Michael Kors shoes that retailed at $195, I bought them for $19.95, a pair of DKNY wedges, retail value $295, I paid $37 and I’m currently waiting for a new pair of Naughty Monkey shoes that retailed for $69 but I bought them for $29!
Here are the places I love to shop and the reasons I love shopping there. I hope you find great shoes at great prices.
- 6pm.com
. – This is by far one of my favorite places to shop because they have daily sales on different designers and the discounts are often more than 50% and no matter how many pairs of shoes you buy, shipping is always $6.95.
– Offers you the ability to select your specific designer, color, price point and the whole shabang. You can even search by what is on sale. (that’s my favorite part)
- Nine West – I love the fact that with Nine West, they have great sales but if you are willing to pay full value, you can get a preview of what they offer and pre-order your shoes. This means that you are setting the trend before everyone else. You get your shoes first and while everyone else is waiting for them to arrive at their local retail outlet, yours have already arrived at your front door.
- Shop at SteveMadden.com today!
– While I like Steve Maddens shoes, I must admit, that I like his clothes as well. This is what I enjoy most about this site. The shoes are just an added plus of course.
- zappos.com
– I can’t say enough good stuff about Zappos. Their customer service is better than anyone you have ever had the pleasure of doing business with. The service is prompt and the really great thing about them is they pay shipping both ways. So you got a pair of shoes, found out they run a little small, send them back & they pay for you to do so! I don’t know that it gets any better than that!
I have quite a few more retailers that I recommend but these are my absolute favorites. If you want to know the who, what, when and so forth of clothes, shoes & purses that go on sale, sign up for The Squeal Factor, my newsletter where I stalk designer sales and share it with you. It’s free and you have nothing to lose, in fact, what you have to gain is a fabulous wardrobe at a reasonable price!
Happy Shopping!
