There is always something going on around the web & I have to share with you what’s on sale this weekend.

Love Gwen Stefani? What about her shoes & handbags? L.A.M.B. shoes are beyond sexy! They are offered this weekend and many styles are over 50% off. HauteLook is offering her items until tomorrow 8 a.m. Pacific time. Word to the wise, the Barrel boot is not for a person with a wide calf, these things are good to know when you are purchasing online. Nothing like getting excited to get your new item & it doesn’t fit.

There are some retailers that have so many designers that you just can’t list them all but one thing I can tell you is when they give you a choice of everything because they take a % off of your purchase, I’m all over that because I’m not just relegated to what they have decided to put on sale. DJ Premium is offering 35% Off Minimum $150 with code WKND35 and its going to be easy to spend $150 there.

I am not the traditional style blogger in the sense that many of these fabulous fashionistas put on their flare & then photograph themselves showing off the look. I of course am in love with my shoes & rarely share my photo on my blog. However, I love to be a part of something fun so when I discovered that Kristina over at Pretty Shiny Sparkly was doing an activity called Bloggers Do It Better….well, hello! I had to jump on board & of course, I was the late comer (aren’t you supposed to be fashionably late to parties)

I thought I’d missed it but she let me know there was still time to join the fun. So, without further ado, here is me in my sequins.

I’m addicted to shoes but the funny thing is, you kind of have to own clothes so you’ll have something to match your shoes to LOL. I don’t know if you’ve noticed but there have been some changes over at Ebay. There was a time when they basically only held auctions of items that came from the homes of the members. If you never knew, they offer new items from large retailers. Not everything you order has to be shipped from an individual owner. Each week, they

I am so excited to have been featured on a segment of my local news. ABC Action News reporter Ellen McNamara came out to find out what it is that I spend my day doing. In a nutshell, I stalk sales. I blog about my findings, share my thoughts on fashion & shoes and spend my day loving up on my computer so that it always treats me right

I have friends and fans from all over the world and this year I hope to increase the number of women I am able to help save money on designer fashions. I hope you all will help me by passing my blog and fan page along to your friends. I do my best to get the best value for the dollar. As a single mom with a kid in college and another quickly approaching, I found a way to cut corners on not just shoes (although, that’s my favorite) but our clothes as well. I have no shame in shopping at the local Goodwill or Salvation Army, I donate items to them so I may as well shop there. I have found some stellar deals there.

I will admit that I shop more online than I do offline because I can comparison shop and a lot of what is offered is not to be found at my local malls (that alone makes me squeal with happiness). Afterall, what “recessionista” wants to see themselves coming & going. (I stole the term recessionista from Ebony over at Above Promotions). Anyway, long story short, I stalk, we save. I love a good sale! Who doesn’t? I tell everyone that I’m a sale stalker & most of the time all I ever really mention are the shoes that go on sale. However, on any given day, there are tons of really great things that go on sale. So many retailers entice you with one and two day sales and if you’re not paying attention, you could miss some great buys! Women who must wear the traditional professional clothes spend tons on those looks. Afterall, a nice, professional looking wardrobe is never really going to be cheap but if you watch for sales, you can really save a lot.

For example, right now Jones New York has a sale of up to 75% off until November 2. Have you seen their clothes? Their accessories? Get more mileage out of your wardrobe with JNY Style Miles, featuring Lloyd Boston as Lloyd shows women how to refresh their wardrobe. The items that they have in their inventory are filled with classic lines, neutral colors and are made with such quality that they will be in your closet for years to come.

They have a wide selection of items to choose from unlike some other sales where the pickings are slim. I own a few suits from Jones New York & you can bet your bottom dollar, I got them on sale….afterall, what kind of sale stalker would I be if I paid full retail?

Another place that has some great items that go on sale occasionally at fantastic prices is shopbop.com where right now they are having a mid-season sale & some items are up to 70% off.

If you have not checked out their selection, it’s a little trendier than Jones but the quality is there, you will find plenty of designer names which translates to great quality and big savings.

At least once a month, 6pm.com has a sale on athletic shoes. If you aren’t stalking these sales, you’re going to miss them. I don’t know about you but I have a teenaged son & a sale on his shoes is ALWAYS welcome. Big feet = Big dollars! Trust me, I’m looking for savings wherever I can find them.

Homecoming season is upon us and shortly after comes the big holiday parties. I know if you’re anything like me, you get invited to tons of various events. Not many of us have readily available income to cover the costs of a different dress for each party. That’s where you can “hire” your dress for the occasion.

You can rent a dress, a formal gown for as little as $50 and even accessories for as little as $10 per rental. I’m not talking ugly frocks either. We’re talking big name designers like Diane Von Furstenberg, Hervé Léger, Proenza Schouler & more!

I am addicted to my fan page on Facebook I look forward to interacting with my peeps each day. I typically say I don’t post on the weekends but lately I’ve found that I’ve been checking in a little more. Today I was blogging, tweeting & all those other social networking things that end in ING and then I started thinking. Yeah, I know, that can be dangerous but I realized that I have quite a few people that I know directly or that fall into the 6 degrees of separation that are involved in marketing fashion. I have decided to share a them with you.

Mookie Clothing – Get your fitness fashion fix here. This company is owned by Sarah Reeves Connelly, she & I once upon a time did fitness competitions together. She has taken her passion for fitness to a new level by offering some cool fashions to get your body in shape.

Mosh Posh – This cute consignment shop has it all. It’s owned by Lauren Basil and I met her because I’m nosey LOL, seriously, she had some cute shoes in her window & is located in the same plaza as another friend that I’ll get to later. Anyway, she offers a large selection of True Religion jeans as well as a host of other highly recognizable high end fashions. They are all authentic and all on consignment.

Busy BEA Shoes – Ok, I don’t actually know her personally but she falls into the 6 degrees of separation rule. This company is owned by Britt Erekson & let me tell you this lady has some moxie! I like it! She posted something to my facebook fan page & I removed it and let me tell you that she called me on it. :-) I took a look at her shoes & they are feminine and affordable! You gotta love that mix.

Pieces With Purpose – I can honestly say that the women that own this company are compassionate, caring & dedicated. This company is owned by Amy Lerom (who is called Mama Lerom by my son) and Lauren Goodhart Murray (another Mama to my son). These are Plant High Football moms & there is a special place in our hearts for Plant. Their company offers shirts with bling! They wholesale these lovely shirts leaving something on the table for fundraisers to use for their causes. They create all kinds of cuteness! See my profile pic in the Gators dress? They did that. :-)

Fetch.Fur.Love. – Yes, I know it’s not your traditional fashion but the pet lovers out there will appreciate it. Owned by Rickena Perry, this little joint is always jumping….with furry friends. She even has a Yappy Hour! That cracks me up! Rickenas shop is next door to Mosh Posh. I met Rickena because….well, I’m nosey. LOL, I was looking at the spot that now houses Mosh Posh and walked into her doggie boutique a little more than a year ago & she was so helpful that we became instant friends.

Back To School Sales, Not Just for Kids

There’s nothing better than a sale in my book. You get to find some great items to add to your wardrobe and you get to save money too, oh yeah, I love that for sure! We all see the commercials, get the flyers in the mail advertising those back to school sales right? Well, those sales are not just for kids. I not only get my kids some great items when these sales come along but I also bolster my own wardrobe.

Like many of the retailers that you visit in the malls, online retailers also offer some stellar savings. There are two advantages to buying at this time of year. One, almost everyone has a sale of some sort and so you can get some great deals on items being offered moving into a new season and because it’s the end of the summer season, you can find even greater savings on summer items that are going out of season. Don’t discount the thought of buying summer goodies that are going out of season. Out of season does not mean out of style.

My recent find on summer shoes that are on sale:

At the beginning of the summer, these were $139.99, they are now on sale for $29.99

This one was $99.95 and it’s now $33.99

This pair was 129.99 at the start of the summer,they are now on sale for $29.99

I don’t know about you, but I’m going back to school shopping for me AND the kids!

Great Purses at Great Prices

I am the first one to seek out a designer sale but lets face it, even some of the sales offered by the designers can still be quite pricey. I know I don’t write very much about purses but clearly, I carry them. Where would I keep my lipstick if I didn’t . I change purses pretty much every other day. I once lost my drivers license for 2 weeks and then I switched back to a purse that I thought I’d searched in the first place, ironically on the day I was finally prepared to order a new one. This was not a deterrent for my chronic purse changing habits. Stalking purse sales is fun but let’s face it, even a designer purse on sale is more than a lot of the shoes that are on sale. Recently in one of my many online adventures into shopping, I stumbled onto a cool little purse site called Handbag Heaven. They have some really cute bags AND they are priced to where I can not only feed my shoe addiction but I can now feed my need for new purses to lose my things in. It’s so funny because I have certain items in each purse so that when I change, I always have a brush, a lip liner, a lip gloss and a chap stick for those days I just want to be plain jane. If you like having a variety of purses, I say check them out. They have some pretty interesting styles and dare I say it, they have some looks that I know are designer inspired but they don’t say that, they never mention anything of the sort. Since most really great looking designer styles end up being trickled down for the mainstream I say add these great looks to your closet.
