The women came early, stood in line for over an hour, music was blaring and it was almost like a rock concert. Steve Madden came to Tampa and the shoe groupies were out in force. Unfortunately, I was not able to personally make it but that doesn’t mean there were no eyes & ears on the scene. I was judging a step contest, I was entertained and had a great time.
My fellow shoe lover Shana was there and gave me blow by blow updates. I even got a countdown! 30 more minutes & the DJ is rockin’, 15 more minutes and Julissa Bermudez from 106 & Park is here, 5 more minutes and he just walked through the crowd. It was sweet torture! A pair of shoes were given away and a 10 year old won, the women were not happy. LOL

Thank you for stopping by my blog. I appreciate it!! Wow, we never get events like this where I live. NYC, Tampa, Miami, Atlanta, etc. They always get top notch events and we get the freaking Southern Women’s Show are some mess like that. Wish I was there, I would have been mad if a ten year old won those shoes as well. I thought you had to at least be 18 to enter drawings and contest!
I love your blog so I’m always happy to stop by to see what you’re wearing. We don’t get as many events as Miami (obviously) but we are happy for the few things we do get here. When I lived in Louisiana, we only got the Southern Womens Show too, LOL and they usually cater to the Country Southern look (no offense to those of you that like that look) but like you, I’m a little more modern and chic than that.
