I love shoes & purses but I will be honest, I have far more shoes than I do purses. The main reason for this is price. You can get a great pair of designer shoes on sale for less than $100 in many cases but its pretty difficult to find a great designer handbag for less than that. So, I have more shoes but when I find a great Handbag Event, it is an awesome time to grab one or two new ones even if they are prices a little higher.

I have no idea yet what the prices will be for the Handbag Event that is scheduled for January 16 – January 23 over at the EBay Fashion Vault but I can tell you I plan to check it out and see what’s there for the taking.

The promise is that these handbags will be offered at up to 80% off! That’s a perfect number in my mind Names like Betsey Johnson (I like her, she’s quirky & usually has some great conversation starters), BCBG, Junior Drake & more. I’m looking forward to seeing what others will be on the list.

Tampa Bay Fashion Week – Kate Spade

Tampa Bay was honored with the presence of Mr. Tim Gunn this week moderating the latest fashions & trends on a local runway. One of the featured designers was Kate Spade. I will admit, I’ve always considered her style a little too reserved for me but after seeing them all put together and strolling down the runway, I have a different opinion. There is no reason that understated elegance can not be considered sexy.

There was one pair of shoes in particular that caught my eye. They are called Linette and they caught my eye as soon as the model strutted onto the catwalk wearing them. Here are a few more looks from the Tampa Bay Catwalk. Enjoy!

When you live your life surfing the net, there’s so much fun stuff, tons of information and believe it or not, new friends to be made. Every week, I see something new that I fall in love with, many of them are featured on the blogs of others that I have connected with through Facebook, twitter or LinkedIn. Well this week, I found a cool collection of Giuseppe Zanotti shoes (he’s one of my favorite designers) on a fellow bloggers place.

Then there is this absolutely cool, futuristic wedge that is inspired by the movie Tron that I found perusing another shoe lovers blog.

I love a great conversation starter shoe, women can always come together over a fabulously interesting pair of shoes. That’s why I had to show you this next shoe that was shared alongside other fabulously interesting shoes!

Well after I finished squealing about shoes, I had to go see what the authority on handbags had to say. This is what I found. Cute little triangular shaped wristlets! LOVE THEM! Especially since I live in the Sunshine State, who wouldn’t want these cute little splashes of color?

On the Sexy Bags & Shoes fan page , I asked how many pairs of shoes & how many handbags everyone planned on adding for 2011. You would never really think much about this….unless you’re an addict like me. LOL, Hey, the first step in getting help is admitting you have a problem right? The shipping is free & if you need to return anything, return shipping is free for the first 30 days. Not only do you have the option to bypass the selections made for you but if you are like me and have a goal of 4 pairs of shoes each month (yes, the shoe diva sets goals on shoes & purses….didn’t I say I was an addict?) Anyway, so if you just have to have a pair and that price is perfect (which it is) you can choose to see more shoes. Part of the fun is to see just how on the mark they are with my style. I’ve been with them for quite some time & I would say they have rarely missed the mark. There is always something perfect in my group of selections. Oh, did I neglect to mention that you can get purses too? Perhaps subliminally I was trying to keep them all for myself since they are pretty scrumptious looking. There are also other choices such as The Haute List & Featured Styles that expand your selections.

Every day I venture from site to site looking at all kinds of lovely items. Many of which I can only imagine wearing and some I will indulge in. This week on Facebook, I asked what shoes everyone wanted before the end of the year & Christian Louboutin topped the list. Well I have visions of a pair of caged Christian Diors. You all know I’m always on the hunt for great fashion finds at great prices. Now that the holiday season is over, many people are staring down the face of new debt. So, with that in mind & because I just love finding a killer steal on awesome looks, I bring you the Fashion Vault
