My best friend and I were having a conversation a few weeks ago when she said “Guess what shoes I’m going to get?” I don’t do well with guessing games so I tossed out Giuseppe Zanotti (one of my favorite designers), Gianmarco Lorenzi? Nope, she reveals she is going to splurge on a pair of Loubi’s. Her shoe budget is much better than mine and I am happy she can afford such splurges.
Of course, being a lover of shoes & a blogger, I come across things that many of us shoe lovers already know but people purchasing in the mainstream may not care about or know. So I ask her, you are aware that he’s arrogantly suing YSL over the color red aren’t you? No, she didn’t realize that. I then ask if she realizes he doesn’t like the concept of comfortable shoes.

We then carry on about the designers we don’t particularly care for. She doesn’t like Jessica Simpson (who makes some of the most comfortable heels in my opinion). So we make a pact, she won’t buy Loubis if I don’t buy Jessicas. Well I have to be honest, if you want Louboutins, I think that you should have them in spite of my opinion. If I were to be honest, I don’t care if he sues the man in the moon & I’ve actually found a few pair of his shoes to actually be comfortable. Sooo, what did I do? The very next week, I bought a pair of Jessica Simpson shoes & let my best bud know that she was free to end her shoe strike 
It’s the least I could do for a fellow shoe lover don’t you think?
Just to set the record straight, the lawsuit is not over the color, it’s actually more about the location of the color since this is how the public recognizes this brand. My budget is more of a Jessica Simpson but rest assured and just so we’re clear, if my shoe budget allowed it, I would want a pair of the red bottomed shoes!
